PS: my Willys license plate refers to Willys-Overland, the creators of Jeep. Not the Willys trim on the Wrangler lineup. That's why I have SAHARA prominently displayed on the sides of the hood :)

New here...and back in Bellingham

Hey everyone,

This is Aldo. I just joined RRR!

I recently moved to Bellingham from Los Angeles. Went to grad school at WWU in the early 1990s; then moved to Los Angeles and am now back after 20 years. Bham's grown a LOT!

Discovered Wranglers and off-roading while in California and love it. Want to keep wheeling up here, but it seems every time I try to go up a trail it is gated and closed.

So far I have ventured up the forest roads off North Fork Rd., near Deming, and went up NF-38 as far as I could.

I have a 2015 JKU Sahara with a 2" Mopar lift, a rear TrueTrac LSD, 34" KO2 tires and a front winch. It is my daily driver.

My family lives right across the border in BC, and have gone wheeling with some locals there sporadically over the years.

Hoping to finding some places to go around here!

Here are some shots I took recently.

Going up NF-38 three weeks ago

Up Twin Lakes Road last June

Up the Fraser Valley, BC, last January

Wheeling my Rubicon in California last April. Sold it before moving to WA.
