You can an Avatar in your UCP "User Control Panel". Avatars can only be 150 x 150 px and 10.00 KiB. So you will have to re-size large pics you want to use as avatars.

2. Go to your UPC
3. Go to Profile
4. Go to Edit Avatar
5. Upload Avatar (you can upload from your machine or linked to somewhere else)
Oh yeah, don't forget to hit "Submit"
